What you get

With the Lightray Diffuser & Cosine Corrector Accessory, you get an attachable diffuser that can be mounted over the front camera of your device. It has been tested and designed to work with any iPhone and iPad.

How it works

The semi-transparent white disc is a perfect diffuser. It consists of a microscopically rough surface created by fine particles and structures embedded in the material. When the light enters the diffuser, it is scattered in many directions and leaves the diffuser in a uniform light. This allows your device to take an accurate light measurement by using the camera as a light sensor.

The diffuser & cosine corrector was developed and perfected by a team of Swiss optics experts and researchers from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and delivers professional-level results. It has been tested in an optics lab with a variety of devices to perfect the light measurement capabilities of a smartphone.
