About Buddha

For many, the figure of Buddha symbolises enlightenment and inner development. He is the founder of Buddhism. The basis of Buddhist teaching is to create a path through which one suffers less from life, e.g. from one's desires. This "enlightenment" is achieved by learning, meditating and treating others responsibly.

Buddha was born as Siddharta Gautama. He was a prince and lived a luxurious, sheltered life in his palace. Eventually he went out into the wide world and meditated under a tree until he reached enlightenment. From that moment on, Siddharta Gautama was called "Buddha", which means "the awakened one".

The 7 chakras and yoga

Creating peace, as in Buddhism, also fits in well with yoga and the teaching of the 7 chakras. Chakra means "wheel" in Sanskrit. Each wheel is an energy node in our body. These energy nodes must all be able to flow in order to feel good. Yoga and a healthy, stress-free life can help with this. In yoga, you meditate in all kinds of postures. This stimulates your chakras.

Each chakra represents a spiritual, mental and physical part of us. The 7 chakras that we encounter most often are

Root chakra (red): Security, orientation

Sacral chakra (orange): Sexuality and creativity

Solar plexus chakra (yellow): energy, joy

Heart chakra (pink or green): Love for others, self-love, kindness

Throat chakra (light blue): the ability to express yourself

Third eye chakra (indigo blue): Knowledge, understanding

Crown chakra (violet): being able to see fully, being involved

Tips for the chakra incense holder

The advantage of an incense stick holder is that you can light the incense sticks safely. They catch the ashes cleanly. There are many different incense holders, so you can show off your own style.

This incense holder with Buddha and the seven chakras is perfect for spiritual people. The 7 colours also give the incense holder a bit of a hippie look. This beautiful incense holder is very suitable as a gift.
