Important auxiliary material in organic farming and secret weapon of all commercial growers.
Trichoderma harzianum, which we call BM®, is the first useful microorganism that has established itself as the standard in commercial greenhouse cultivation.
Microorganisms living in soil, coconut fibre or similar substrates break down organic matter and release minerals in the process. This process is crucial in organic farming, bio-hydroponics, bioponics and aquaponics. As recent research has shown, Trichoderma releases in the course of its development and spread a number of compounds that promote plant growth and substances that render harmless or kill pathogens living in the soil that are dangerous to plants.
Because of these advantages, which especially benefit young plants, Trichoderma has established itself in the industry.
Like all GHE products, our Trichoderma is of first-class quality because our crops are grown from particularly viable strains. We are proud of our products made from beneficial bacteria and fungi, which are among the top products on the market.
BM meets the requirements of the European Directive 2008/113/EC on Microorganisms as Active Ingredients and is registered under the following number: BBA No. LS 004987-65-00.
APPLICATION:
Like all aerobic animals, the microorganisms contained in BM are healthier and more efficient the more oxygen they receive and the less pH, temperature and humidity they fluctuate.
- As an addition during sowing and as an addition to water/fertiliser for seedlings, young and adult plants: Every 6 to 8 weeks add 1 g each to 15 to 20 litres of water or nutrient solution.
- Adult plants in soil or coconut fibre: Every 6 to 8 weeks add 10 g each to 150 to 200 litres of water or nutrient solution; simply add to the irrigation/fertiliser system or water the substrate directly with it.
- In hydroponics with freely floating roots or bioponics: For young plants with a small root mass, BM needs a basis for the colonisation and reproduction of microorganisms. Use a commercially available biofilter or hang a 3 to 5 litre plastic grid pot filled to 80 % with expanded clay and to 20 % with coconut fibre in the water running into the tank or under the return pipe of our AeroFlo systems.
SUITABLE FOR
- All fertilizers and substrates from GHE, hydroponics and outdoor gardens.
- General Organics: Thrive® and other GHE organic fertilizers are particularly efficient when used in combination with BM®.
